Craig Goldstraw

I started fishing at the age of 5 at the local River Dove and Derwent. At 12 I began fishing junior matches on my local club waters where I won the JCB leauge 3 years running.

I started to fish another local club with the seniors where I won the 'All winners final'. At 17 I passed my driving test and decided to take my fishing further, so I started to fish Heronbrook and Tunnel Barn Farm.

I managed to win several leagues at these fisheries and was asked to join the Maver Midlands Team.

I will be having a go at getting back in the UK Angling Championship with missing it last year and finishing 12th the year before.

On top of this I will be fishing a few local open matches to enjoy my fishing and also doing a few features and internet blogs to support my sponsors !

• Fishomania 2016 finalist
• Won individually in the Angling Trust Winter Leauge 2013 winning a round out- right at Boldings Fisheries.
• Won JCB summer league 3 years running on natural waters.
• Winner of larford team Spring league
• Won the spring leauge at Heronbrook this year under Maver Midlands Bag'em 2012
• Finalist in the Maver Match This team event in 2012 and won my section.
• Qualified for the UK champs in 2011.
• Won winter league at Heronbrook Maver Midlands Bag'em 2011.
