Jake Robinson
I started fishing from a very young age at a local lake called Forrest Park fishing for small roach, tench and carp, where I live in Stoke-on-Trent.
I started match fishing when I was 10 at Border Fishery where I first met Jeff Moors who took me under his wing and taught me everything I know to date along with the help of Graham Rhodes, Neil Machin & Andy Moors, probably the best trio of anglers you could wish to be taught by.
I progressed from just a pools fodder as I would say to join a team called Pickerings Garbolino captained by Jeff Moors. As the team went from strength to strength and we gained a new sponsor with Maver so we became Maver Pickerings who were a well respected Northern team with some great talent. Now bringing me up to date I have had the opportunity to work with Bag'em matchbaits along with Maver Midlands which was a great move forward in my fishing career.
